Call prospectus

Theme
The artwork must deal with human rights, social justice or environmental issues. All artwork must be original. The concept may be applied to a broad range of topics.
Media
Open to artists of all media, including but not limited to painting, printmaking, sculpture, installation art, drawings, photography and mixed media.
Entries
Each artist can submit up to five (5) works. If selected, artists are responsible for delivery by the deadline.
Shipping
If shipped within the United States, the exhibit sponsors will pay for return postage up to $100. If shipped from outside the US, return shipping must cost under $200. Artists have the option to donate their selected work to the College of the Sequoias permanent art collection.
Condition
All work must be ready to hang/exhibit and received in undamaged condition. Any work not ready to hang or display will be returned to the artist and excluded from the exhibit. No dimension should exceed 72 inches, and no work should exceed 50 lbs total weight.
Fee
$30 for 1–5 entries.
Sales
No sales commission will be taken on any artwork sales. Anyone interested in purchasing an artwork will be directed to contact the artist directly.
Presentation
Work must be dry, complete, prepared in a professional manner and ready to hang or display. Necessary hanging hardware must be attached to the back — either wire in eyelets or a serrated hanger on the frame. No glass — Plexiglas only. 3-D work must be similarly complete. Exhibitors are encouraged to insure their work for shipping.
After the show
An exhibit catalog/booklet will be printed after the exhibition and sent to each accepted participant. Best of Show and Merit awards will be selected by the juror and highlighted in the catalog. All accepted work will be featured on this website.

Tema
El tema y arte que acompaña esta exhibición deberá relacionarse con el dilema de derechos humanos, la justicia social o el medio ambiente. Todo trabajo de arte deberá ser original.
Medios
La exhibición será abierta a toda clase de artista, incluyendo pintura, grabados, escultura, dibujo, fotografía y tecnología/video.
Entradas
Cada artista podrá someter no más de cinco (1–5) de sus trabajos. De ser seleccionado, el artista es responsable de enviar su propio arte para la fecha límite.
Envío
El costo de envío devuelto del arte será pagado por los organizadores hasta $100 si es enviado dentro de EU, o $200 si el envío es afuera de EU. También tiene la opción de donar el arte a la colección permanente del College of the Sequoias.
Condición
Todas las piezas de arte deberán estar preparadas para ser colgadas en el área de exhibición. Ninguna dimensión puede ser más de 72 pulgadas (182 cm) o pesar más de 50 libras (22 kilos).
Costo

Venta

Presentación
El trabajo deberá estar seco, completamente preparado en una forma profesional y listo para exponer. Si el trabajo es de dos dimensiones deberá tener alambre de colgar. Favor de no utilizar cristal, solo plástico transparente (plexiglás). Se recomienda que los participantes aseguren el envío de su obra.
Después
Un catálogo de la exhibición será impreso después de la exhibición y se enviará una copia a cada participante. Se reconocerá un Primer Lugar entre las obras aceptadas, mencionado en el catálogo y en el sitio web.
